Structure of the Databases

You get to the page of the data bases via the start page or from the map pages via the icon . QuoVadis Mobile works in the same way as [QVC]. It works with data bases to manage your maps, waypoints, tracks and routes. The advantages of the data bases are the following:

  • clear organization also of large amounts of data,
  • simple exchange with other QVM- and QV-Users,
  • efficient seek and find

And it is also available via QVM on your Smartphone or Tablet on the road.

The data base page is also a tab page, where several sections are next to each other. You can switch between the sections via clicking the icons at the lower edge.

My_Data This is the active database. All maps are listed here, also the waypoints, routes and tracks, which you have imported from (e.g. [QVC]) or created yourself in the App.
Shared_Locations Here the information about the shared locations are stored. (see share location with others).

The databases are located in the internal directory of your Smartphone. If those databases do not exist they will be applied automatically.
Via the icon you can apply new databases according to your wishes and activate them if necessary. Please do not use umlauts and special characters in the name of the databases!
